Step 3: Moving on the third step that you need to pay for the PMP examination, clearly the cost you have to pay by $405 for members and $555 for non-members. By 2010, the price for the membership is $129 for one-time registration. Moreover, there is predefined number of applicants are selected for physical audit at random, and you will be confirmed on the paying date. Especially, you will need submit hard copies of your personal information such as education, project management training, work experience, and so on. It might take up 6 weeks to get approval for an audit. You will receive the ” Authorization to Test” email from 3 to 5 working days when you are not required to go through the audit.

Step 4: If you receive the letter about you audit, you should check your exam seat availability on the Thomson Pro-metric website to choose the nearest center and test date to be suitable for you.

Step 5: If you have seen the available examination dates to take it that you should decide between study independently with a target of 2 to 3 months study and attend a PMP Boot Camp Class to be the most convenient for yourself. Step 6: After completing all 5 steps above that you have class date and study period to carry out that you should go to the Thomson Pro-Metric website to have schedule for sitting the examination after your study period completely.

Step 7: This is the last step to take the exam. Actually, your test consist of 200 questions, and there are 25 questions are pretest. If you want to pass the exam that you have to score 106 out of 175 questions during 4 hours. Because the pretest question will not be known, so you have complete 131 correctly in 200 questions for all practical purpose. During the test, there are not time to rest that you should try to complete or you can rest at your stay but you should remember that the clock is not stop.
